Inside Sales

As an account executive, you will be responsible for selling multiple forms of transportation services to prospective and current customers. Working both individually and within a team setting, you will be reaching out to both current customers and potential customers while growing your own business portfolio. This position requires a mixture of both inside and outside sales. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing accounts, communicating with new and existing customers and providing top tier service for each of your customers.

Responsibilities:

Learning the ins and outs of trucking and logistics industry as well as sales techniques through our training program

Making outbound phone calls, emails, and other creative follow up to establish strong long-term business relationships.

Managing your own book of business. Once you land an account, you are responsible for being the face and voice of PDQ America for that account and growing that account to its fullest potential.

Creating and maintaining strong business relationships internally and externally.

Solving problems – every day. Trucking and logistics is an exciting industry that can change by the minute. You’ll be responsible for putting out fires and delivering solutions as they come up.

Dispatch

PDQ America is a nationwide trucking company and certified freight brokerage that specializes in 3PL, flatbed, oversize, heavy haul, and long haul.

The Dispatcher/ Driver Manager is responsible for coordinating all processes related to the booking of freight, the pre-planning of loads, and the dispatching of driver and equipment in a manner that provides quality customer service, full equipment utilization, and driver productivity.

The Dispatcher/ Driver Manager will coordinate loads as well as oversee the management of drivers and equipment.

Who fits this position?

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who thrives in a high energy, fast paced environment while providing excellent customer service. The person will also like working independently with minimal supervision. This person will be onsite working at our headquarters in White Oak, Texas.

Experience in the Trucking industry with full knowledge of dispatch, drivers, driver management, driver mileage, driver home times, hours of service, driver pay, compliance with DOT regulations, brokered freight, freight lanes, freight rates, capacity, etc. is required.

This individual should be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, and should have intermediate skills with computer software, Windows, and the phone. This individual should be able to work effectively within the goals of the department and company by providing fiscally responsible solutions to maximize driver usage and meet customer needs.

The regular schedule for this position will be full-time. This position will also carry a company cell phone and have after hours support calls as well.

Carrier Relations

PDQ America is a trucking company and freight brokerage with the ambition, technology, and tools to become one of the top logistics service providers in the country. The inside sales representative will be responsible for managing leads and accounts to develop relationships that will grow the companies revenue. The position will be measured against a scorecard and the ability to contribute directly to an aggressive growth strategy. A background in freight is not required, we can teach that. A back ground in sales and experience with CRM software is a must. Preferably inside sales.
