Fuel Price Report 4/29/2021
Cease and desist!
For the first time since I have been tracking the cost of diesel fuel, the national average per gallon cost did not increase nor decrease, but remained the exact same price as the prior week. The national cost of diesel fuel is sitting at $3.124 per gallon again this week. Similar to last week, prices dropped in some regions, and increased in others.
The largest decrease happened in the Lower Atlantic region (-$.013) and the largest increase happened in the Central Atlantic region, New England region, and the state of California (+$.009). The Lower Atlantic region and the Gulf Coast region is remain under $3 per gallon of diesel fuel. The cheapest gallon of diesel fuel can be found in the Gulf Coast region at $2.917, while the most expensive gallon of diesel fuel can be found in the state of California at $3.986.
